We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review and verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Assist with month-end closing activities as needed
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
