Accounting Finance Analyst

Position Overview 

Munetrix is a SaaS business and looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate to assist our VP Finance in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), cash forecasting, and evolve in to supporting the monthly financial close process. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a desire to learn and grow within our organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist in the management of Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. 
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) processes including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment processing. 
• Assist in cash forecasting activities to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations and strategic initiatives. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. 
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. 
• Assist in the preparation of financial analyses, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders. 
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 
• 1-2 years working in a SaaS business  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
• Proficiency in quickly adapting to new software applications, with a proven track record of mastering unfamiliar tools and platforms efficiently 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Ramp, Bill.com  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance function. 

While this position is remote, location in the Eastern time zone is preferred.
