Role Description:

This role is responsible for recording and maintaining financial transactions such as purchases, expenses, sales and payments. In this role, you will collaborate with other teams to ensure that all transactions are approved and recorded as well as respond to outside vendor and customer inquiries. This role will ensure that company policies and guidelines are followed. This is a full time hybrid role based in NYC.


 Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with related education desired
  • The ideal candidate should be organized, driven, and detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Must be excited about working in a creative and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel 
  • Experience with SAP Concur is a plus
  • Must be proactive with a strong work ethic, self-directed and resourceful


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the Accounts Payable cycle, maintaining vendor information, obtaining invoice approval, proper coding, entering invoices, and preparing disbursements
  • Ensure Expense Reports are accurate and comply with company policy
  • Monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts
  • Serve as a partner with vendors, responding to account questions
  • Assist Collections Associate, contacting customers regarding outstanding balances and reconciling accounts
  • Prepare customer documents for external collection agencies 
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
  • Work with Controller assisting in month-end closing
