Account Manager, Brand and Creative
Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking an Account Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to create partnerships that advance the business and elevate work, fusing deep subject matter expertise of the stakeholders’ business models, customers, and goals with expertise in integrated marketing and creative.
You’ll get to proactively identify opportunities, advise and consult on marketing and creative solutions, and connect dots between B&C teams and channels. You’ll act as the voice and brain of the creative team in stakeholder conversations, and the voice and brain of the business within the B&C workflow, influencing up, across, and out.
As a member of the Operations team, you’ll also have the opportunity to actively participate in shaping and rolling out process initiatives and improvements.

What You'll Do
- Immerse and embed in clients business, customers, and goals, informing a POV on creative and marketing strategy
- Develop project briefs and GTM plans with stakeholders and drive alignment to them throughout B&Cs project lifecycle
- Connect dots in execution, advise and guide toward omni-channel content
- Support stakeholders in thinking through targeting, building campaigns to drive to targeted channels and outputs
- Track and report on project and line of business status, updates, and priorities
- Identify opportunities for creative solutions
- Have a strategic and operational mindset, helping advise on stakeholder budgets and other business
- Drive and up-level communications and presentation materials
- Influence across, up and out - navigating sensitive stakeholder relationships and creating visibility to B&C leadership
- Be knowledgeable about stakeholders business, key issues, competitive situation, industry trends, and the projects assigned to the B&C team as well as other communication partners
- Experience in global brands, in-house, or agency roles within creative, marketing, or integrated communications teams, managing clients and integrated in-house or agency teams through content planning, creative concepting, and production
- Track record of progression as an Account Manager
- Ability to lead and thrive in dynamic environments, passionate about driving success through positive relationships and operational excellence
- Superior scope/budget stewardship, time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to work in a robust and agile environment, while consistently paying attention to accuracy and quality of work
- Measurable experience managing creative workflows across print, video, digital, and experiential tactics.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Workfront and Jira
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to convey high-level concepts and business direction
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity
- A Bachelors degree required
- 5+ years of progressive account management experience in an in-house creative group, creative agency, or similar environment
