Academic Advisor -- Remote | WFH

We are currently seeking a dynamic Academic Advisor (History Track) to join our team full-time. While we are presently operating remotely, we plan to continue in a fully remote/hybrid working mode.

The Primary Responsibilities Of This Role Include

Academic Competitions, Research, and Instruction:

Providing guidance on various history subject competitions and event consultation.

Assisting students with research questions, scientific methods in historical research, academic writing, and essay drafting.

Recommending suitable history summer programs and facilitating the application process.

Organizing travel arrangements and communicating effectively with families regarding competitions or events.

Participating in planning and implementing academic activities such as workshops and personalized lessons.

Conducting academic research and developing teaching materials aligned with product goals.

Client Consultation

Assessing clients' writing samples and providing detailed assessment reports.

Offering personalized academic guidance and planning based on clients' needs and goals.

Recommending academic history programs and activities to enhance clients' abilities.

Providing professional advice and counseling for clients' academic history projects.

Collaborative Product Development

Assisting in market research and understanding client needs.

Maintaining and optimizing standardized operating procedures and content.

Collecting and analyzing feedback to enhance product offerings.

Creating marketing content and promoting products and events.

Subject Team Building

Participating in team meetings and reporting regularly to team leaders.

Assisting in onboarding and training new team members.

Collaborating on projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications

A minimum of a Master's degree in history or related fields.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills and social awareness.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching or tutoring experience.

Personal experience with history competitions and events.
