But often the stories of the men and women of the rivers go untold. An industry that supplies and sustains our nation (and others), but has become so easily forgotten by a population that unknowingly and thanklessly depend on every ounce of material being moved.

It's always been said, for a documentarian to make the best story possible, he or she should shoot what they know... and coming from a multi-generational family of river boat captains, the river is what I know and its an honor to document these guys and tell their story.

The High Points.... My professional eclectic career spans over 15 years in creative, managerial and service industries. I was digital pre-press for a print shop, art director for a vehicle graphics manufacturer and later art director for a video transfer company. I’ve expanded my abilities as part of the leasing staff and later a shifting property manager for the Bay Area’s foremost multi-family housing group.

Most recently I’ve been campaign staff photographer during 2017 CADEM, lead photographer for countless corporate events, documentary projects and independent coverage of numerous protest demonstrations.

I’m familiar with most industry standard creative and record-keeping software, with high flexibility and efficiency in learning new skills and applications, as required.

Meeting unpredictable deadlines are common place in my professional history, with a thriving nature in fast paced, problem solving environments.

Created by RE Casper. StreetPX is a photography podcast hosted by RE Casper and Jim Watkins, focusing on the why, how, where and who of urban life (street) photography. Sitting down with fellow street photographers to share their stories, why they chose this genre, what inspires them and who they are as artists.

After living in Chicago a few years, my fiancee and I were given the unique opportunity to chase our dreams in a new land. So we dropped everything, packed the van, attached the car and made way for the west coast. After this journey ended, I jumped right into creating a photobook to share it with the world.

Assistant producer, website updates, marketing, design, planning, photo walk organizing and management, gopher and problem solving.

Organizer/Producer for a juried street photography exhibit at the San Francisco Harvey Milk Photo Center. Responsible for web design, marketing collateral, submissions, blind jury selections, printing, preparation and mounting.

Over 350 submissions were received, with 54 finalists selected for showcase.

All proceeds were donated to the Lighting Project for the Harvey Milk Photo Center.
