The Berger Institute also takes part in the Women and Leadership Alliance, a joint endeavor at the Claremont Colleges that highlights leadership issues faced by women in business, government and the professions.

I have used my involvement with Berger to speak to college students about real-life personal finance skills they'll need after graduation, and encourage female students to explore careers in finance. Show less

The Women’s Initiative (WIN) works to address the challenge of under-representation of women in the financial planner workforce. I've helped ensure a more diverse pipeline of talent by encouraging women to join the profession through mentoring, scholarships, financial planning education, and speaking to women at high school, college, graduate and professional forums. In addition, I have also served on Scholarship Award Review and Test Design committees.

I love reading and love to support this organization! The Literary Feast is the major annual fundraiser for the Broward Public Library Foundation, combining a silent auction, dedicated volunteers, and intimate dinner gatherings with renowned authors, all ready to share insights into their latest books and upcoming projects. The Broward (Fort Lauderdale) library system is the largest in Florida by square footage and one of the busiest, with more than 7.5 million walk-in customers visiting its 38 locations annually. Invest in Girls (a program of the Council for Economic Education). Mentor teenage and college girls to educate, inspire and empower a rising generation of financially literate girls and increase the number of women working in the fields of finance and financial services. I've volunteered as a mentor.

We are a group of philanthropic women who join together to award $100,000 grants to local 501c3 nonprofit organizations to allow them to launch or expand high-impact initiatives or programs in southern Palm Beach County, Florida. Impact 100 Palm Beach County gave $800,000 in grants this year.

The Broward Women’s Alliance is a women's networking group that gives scholarships to women to advance their personal and professional goals through a higher education degree. I've been a speaker on women's personal finance challenges and have also been an active fundraiser.
