“Yin led Data Science efforts for the Marketing Analytics team at Walmart. In that role, she partnered with myself and my team to build a Marketing Measurement tool called Hawkeye. She single-handedly architected and built the modeling layer of the tool. She was very thorough in her approach and ensured the product was built using the most appropriate modeling techniques, addressed all the business needs and delivered the intended impact to the Business. While Yin has extensive knowledge in Marketing Measurement frameworks such as MMM, she has a keen eye for general Advanced Analytics. In addition to building the models of the product from the ground up, she ran several deep analyses and projections using the tool that helped the Business in defining efficient media plans. The product landed more than 15% improvement in Return on Ad Spend. I have no reservations to say that the product would not have materialized without Yin's contributions.
