How do you choose UX design software for your budget?
At the beginning of a project I'm a firm believer of using pen and paper. For writing down a plan, figuring out next steps, initial wireframes, etc. You can get fancy pens and paper, but it's still pretty affordable. There have been all kinds of studies about how writing things down by hand is useful for committing new concepts to memory. Even my first steps in the computer tend to be in Google Workspace applications. Sheets is great for making a simple project timeline. Docs is no frills ways to write out a research plan. All budget friendly.
