You’re managing a sales team with multiple territories. What are the best tools to keep everyone on track?
One thing that seems to be consistent across the board, in my experience, is setting clear objectives for the team and breaking them down by quarter. Conducting the rhythm of the business touch base bi-monthly and ask for a digest of goals accomplished between the goal posts. Before the tool and the process comes the expectation setting.

How do you revise your strategy when things change?
Here are some strategies for dealing with changes in strategy. Number one, your mindset is the only thing you can control. Over-analyzing can lead to paralysis and decision fatigue. Immediately treat change as a new opportunity to exceed previous expectations. Number two, get time with the change agent. Budget holders, leaders, and those truly responsible for the need adjustment are the audience you should spend your next cycle with. Interviewing, understanding, and readjusting the solution offering to exceed their value needs. Lastly, communicate, communicate, and communicate some more with your internal stakeholders, team, and partners to align expectations and rally support. Teams wins. Egos do not.
