    My daughter and I had the honor of working with this amazing organization providing education, skills training and other services to the women and children in New Delhi, India. In addition to its main school in the Baljeet Nagar slum, we worked in the Pandav Nagar slum and the Nehru Nagar slum. The children come to class to learn math, English, and basic skills. Although they live in difficult circumstances that many of us would consider unimaginable, they come to class with bright smiles…

Although they live in difficult circumstances that many of us would consider unimaginable, they come to class with bright smiles and eager eyes, always ready to learn. They ALWAYS ask for homework. Although we were there as volunteer teachers, we learned at least as much from them as we taught.
