My primary volunteering experience is sharing the story of St. Jude and how my life became a part of the continued legacy. Over the last several years, I have travelled across the country as a representative of the organization at hundreds of fundraising and awareness events and have provided the organization with numerous digital interviews and assets. Recently, I was invited to join the Patient-Family Centered Services team as an advisor on their board to help guide physicians, nurses, and other staff members in creating quality care for our patients and their families. The shift to working on the clinical side of the St. Jude mission is an exciting opportunity that fills me with gratitude. In February of 2021, I was asked to speak at a medical symposium hosted by St. Jude of which childhood cancer survivorship and its impacts were the focus. Show less
