Create a Company Report

You can create a Company Report in LinkedIn Talent Insights to better understand the types of talent in a company and how the company’s workforce changes over time. Once your report is generated, you can navigate through the tabs at the top of the report to view insights on this company.

The Company Report in LinkedIn Talent Insights allows you to understand the types of talent within a company and how the company's workforce is changing over time.

Company Reports contain data that help answer the following types of questions:
  • What opportunities does your company have to redeploy talent internally?
  • What skills does your workforce have? What are your skills gaps and where can you up-skill?
  • What skills and gaps do your competitors have?
  • Are you meeting your diversity goals? How do you compare to others in the market?
  • Which competitors are you gaining talent from or losing talent to?

  • What are your attrition rates and how do they compare to your competitors?

To view your Company Report, click View your Company Report on the Talent Insights homepage. 

Here's a tip

Your company is determined by the company linked to your Talent Insights license.

To generate a company report:
  1. Click Create a Company Report on the Talent Insights homepage.
  2. Begin typing the name of the company in the Company field and select the company from the dropdown.
  3. Add or exclude Location, Skill, Job Title, Function, or Advanced Filters on the left rail to further refine your report.

  4. Click Apply.

Once your report is generated, you can navigate through the tabs at the top of the report to view insights on the selected company.

Company Reports include the following insights:
  • Top functions at the company

  • Top workforce skills at the company

  • Where the company is winning and losing talent

  • Schools, degrees, and fields of study of employees of the company

  • Company workforce distribution by location

  • Tenure and experience of the company’s workforce

  • Hiring and departure trends

  • Industries where the company has won and lost talent

  • Attrition by function and location

  • Sample LinkedIn profiles of company employees

Important to know

The talent pool counts may not be exactly the same in Talent Insights and Recruiter. In order to provide search results as quickly as possible, Recruiter shows approximate counts for search results containing 1,000 or more results. In some cases, Recruiter may return a broader set of profiles so that you have the best chance at finding the right candidate.
