There are several ways people become confirmed members of your group without requiring your final approval.

While creating the group, if you have enabled the setting that allows all members of your group to send invitations to join, then your group members are free to send invitations to other members.

Anyone on the Invited section of the Manage group page can automatically join if they accept the invitation.

Another group manager invited or approved members without your knowledge.
To review your pending memberships:

Navigate to your Group homepage.

Click the Manage group button next to the group name.

Click Invited on the left rail to see members who are currently invited.
- Pending invitations expire every 30 days.
- Use the Rescind option next to the member’s name to withdraw the invitation to join the group.
Note: Group owners and admins can remove members at any time from the Members section of the Manage Group page.
To review your pending memberships:

Navigate to your Group homepage.

Tap Manage group > Requests to join.

Tap Requested to review pending requests to join or tap Invited to view any pending invitations.
