Troubleshoot two-step verification in Recruiter and Talent Hub

If you’re experiencing issues with turning on two-step verification in LinkedIn Recruiter or Talent Hub, we recommend completing the following steps.

If you receive an error message when entering your two-step verification code:
  • You can turn on two-step verification through your LinkedIn.com account. Be sure to verify that you have a phone number associated with your account.

  • Alternatively, you can utilize the Microsoft Authenticator app to turn on two-step verification.

If you don’t receive a two-step verification code on your mobile device:
  • Disable all third-party apps that may interfere with your ability to receive messages from LinkedIn through your Settings & Privacy under Partners & services.

  • Additionally, you can turn on two-step verification through your LinkedIn.com account. Be sure to verify that you have a phone number associated with your account.

If you don’t receive a two-step verification code by phone call:
  • Disable all third-party call forwarding service apps (Voice Over IPs).
  • Additionally, you can turn two-step verification on through your LinkedIn.com account. Be sure to verify that you have a phone number associated with your account.
