Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

Select Sign in & security on the left rail and click Phone numbers under Account access.

Click Add phone number and enter the verification code sent to your primary email address.

Select the appropriate country from the dropdown, and enter your phone number in the New phone number field.

Click Send code. This will send a verification code to your mobile device via SMS (text message) to confirm that you own this number.

Enter your LinkedIn account password to continue with this change.

Click Done.

On the next screen that appears, enter the verification code you received on your mobile device and click Confirm. You can also click Resend code if you haven't received it, or click Call me with the code to have the code read out to you via a phone call.

Your mobile phone number must be verified before it can be used to reset your account password.

Select the checkbox Use for password reset below one of the existing phone numbers listed. Only one mobile phone number at a time can be used for sign-in problems.

Click Remove to the right of the existing phone number listed.

Tap your profile picture.

Tap the
Settings icon. -
Tap Sign In & Security, then tap Phone numbers.

If you don't have any phone numbers associated with your account, you'll be prompted to add one. If you've already associated a phone number with your account and want to add a new one, tap Add phone number at the bottom of the screen and enter the verification code sent to your primary email address.

Enter your phone number in the phone number field.

Select the appropriate country from the dropdown.

Enter your LinkedIn account password to continue with this change.
