    Caring for our communities is rooted in our culture. We support our colleagues with volunteer time off, so they can take time to give back to causes they care about. Members of our Rathdrum, Ireland Sustainability Team recently volunteered to pick up litter in the area. The team collected multiple bags of trash, several old car parts and some timber waste. It is amazing what can be achieved with a little bit of teamwork! We’re so proud of our colleagues making a difference in their communities.     We are committed to supporting the legacy of leaders in agriculture and communities across the United States, and through contributions to Folds of Honor, we’re able to honor this commitment while making a difference in the lives of military and first-responder families. Through 2023, we have helped support 241 scholarships for the families of people who have served in the U.S. armed forces. Our reach extends to students at over 90 universities and land-grant institutions across the country through Folds of Honor. We are proud to support this meaningful organization and look forward to continuing our support in 2024.

    As Memorial Day approaches in the U.S., we remember the sacrifices of our heroes who gave their lives for this country. Our newest Colleague Resource Group (CRG), ZVETS, has been leading a tribute to fallen military service members in honor of Memorial Day. ZVETS stands for Zoetis Veterans Engage Together & Support and their mission is to honor, acknowledge, and celebrate the people who served in the armed forces or in public service; and support those who have served within Zoetis and local communities through mentorship, volunteering, recruiting, and charitable activities for veterans. We’re proud to have the ZVETS CRG now, and also so proud of our colleagues who were part of forming it and have served our country (a few heroes pictured here: Jesse MacKenzie, Ryan Gilbert, Agostino S. (Auggie) Scicchitano, Ed.D.). #ZoetisProud

Senior Account Manager at Zoetis 👌🏾Why is proactively sharing pronouns (eg on email sigs, zoom profiles, stethoscope clips, etc) important? Sharing pronouns is important because in the most simple terms, it creates a safe space. By sharing pronouns, it shows allyship to foster an inclusive culture where everyone can belong. 🎶Your walk-in song? Ready For It by Taylor Swift 👍🏾👍🏿👍Why are #Pride activities important to you? Pride- related activities are important to me because it brings me great joy to see and experience the celebration of how much progress we have made in society for inclusivity and belonging. Although we are nowhere near we want to be, it is important to reflect and celebrate the progress that has been made. To see the happiness, joy, and love being shared is a beautiful sight. Pride is important to me because I want to model for my children that we can live in a world where we all be agents of change and always strive to have everyone feel seen, heard and belong. 💪🏿💪🏾💪🏻In what way do you think allies are important to any marginalized group? As a proud founding member of Zoetis LGBTQ Colleague Resource Group "Proud and Welcome" and president of the Asian Pacific Islander group "Asians Rising Together", I have learned through my Diversity, Equity and Inclusion journey that Allyship is a critical component in executing the vision of an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel accepted, heard, seen and they belong. This will bring out the best version of ourselves as living with purpose and authenticity brings out the best in all of us. Those of us who identify as a member of a marginalized group have a shared experience. The more we can support each other, care for each other and live a life with empathy and compassion, the more we can meet the realized dream of creating change in the world. 💗Favorite #quote?     The Zoetis Foundation and American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) are thrilled to celebrate this year’s Zoetis Foundation/AVMF Veterinary Technician Student Scholarship recipients. Congratulations to these incredible students!    Veterinary technicians play a vital role in helping address the dynamic health, food, and welfare needs of today. The Zoetis Foundation is proud to help expand access to veterinary technician training through grant support to AVMF to help offset educational expenses.
