Vipul is a seasoned banking and finance professional with significant experience living and working globally and, particularly, in the emerging markets, over a 35+ years span. With development banking, investment and advisory experience with the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group), most recently as Global Client Leader with relationship responsibilities with top tier financial entities, he pioneered many firsts. The volume of alerts can max out the capacity of any AML compliance. The typical sanctions alert review analyst can work upwards of 300 alerts per day at high levels of quality. When alert volumes spike from black swan events, an analyst needs to work up to 800 alerts a day to ensure their organization is keeping pace with alert volumes. That’s just not sustainable.
