About us
Wittliff Cutter is an Austin, Texas-based law firm representing a national client base in complex commercial and intellectual property litigation matters as well as providing data security/privacy counsel, business, and outside general counsel services. Wittliff Cutter also represents clients in CyberTort litigation, investigations, and government enforcement actions. Since its founding in 2013, Wittliff Cutter’s strength remains our entire team’s experience and perspective. Each one of our partners has either first chaired significant trials to conclusion or led multi-million dollar transactions. Our senior counsel, a core part of our team, have from twelve to more than twenty years of successful experience as associates and partners at in large law firm litigation departments. Fully half of our team has held senior in-house positions including general counsel(s), chief privacy counsel, senior in-house litigation counsel, and senior commercial/IP counsel. We also have two former state prosecutors, a former AUSA and Division Chief in the Texas Office of the Attorney General. Our clients benefit from our professional experience and our perspective as experienced external counsel, business advisors and, importantly, former law firm clients.
