Thank you, Anna, for the work you do each year to introduce the next generation of women builders to our industry!
CM Career Services & Employer Relations Coordinator - Construction Management Program, Colorado State University
Wow - we just concluded another fantastic Women in CM Summer institute and what an awesome week it was! We hosted 26 ladies from high schools across the U.S. from Florida to Maryland to Virginia to California, and of course our beautiful home state of Colorado! We spent five long days with a variety of women representing different ACE industries, building projects in the lab and confidence and knowledge in the classroom. I am so proud of these girls and grateful for their engagement and enthusiasm throughout the week! They make the year-long planning process 100% worth it! Cheers to another year of inspiring the next generation of lady builders!! Special thanks to The Beavers Charitable Trust for sponsoring the program for the last five summers allowing us to offer the program for minimal cost to attendees - removing any barriers for those who may not otherwise be able to attend. Additional thanks to all the AMAZING ladies that helped out this week starting with the other two Program Coordinators Gianna Bueno and Kayla Kovar! And thanks to the many inspirational women from industry who gave their time and talents throughout the week to highlight various industry topics and skills including Alejandra "Ale" Spray, Alicia Ready, Amy Powell, Ashleigh Widmier, Beth Fulster, Dee Oswald, Lisa Quiroga, Meegan Bennett, Rebecca Wilcox, Sara O'Kane, P.E., Sherona Simpson, Sofia Rodriguez-Mora, & Sydney Andrus (& I can't leave out Jeff Wilkes who does a ton to support the program). HUGE gratitude to Milwaukee Tool for providing each camper a bag of tools, U.S. Engineering and Ferguson for providing pipe for one of our projects, J. E. Dunn Construction Group for hosting our jobsite tour, Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC, CSU Drone Center, SketchUp and Trimble Inc. for hosting our ‘Equipment Rodeo', and Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity for letting our girls cap off the week with an awesome day of service! It takes a village to run a program like this and I am so grateful to have such a supportive and giving village! Thank you all! https://lnkd.in/gkrm--a #CSUCM #WomenInConstruction #RamBuilt #CSURams

Thanks to Adolfson & Peterson for posting these photos of our field teams completing another successful crane pick! Our teams at Wiggins High School Event Center worked with our partners on a hot Colorado Day to remove 11 older RTUs and install 11 new ones. Shout out to our teams and partners for a safe, well-coordinated, and efficient operation!
We had another successful crane pick of 11 RTU (5000 pounds each) at Wiggins High School Event Center. Safety always comes first, but nothing can beat an early morning pick and drop. With careful planning, seamless coordination, and excellent communication, we managed to execute the lift of 11 RTUs in just half a day. Shoutout to our trade partners U.S. Engineering and KP Squared Cranes. #APBuilds
