This EIC has a clear theme: interoperability, interoperability, interoperability of #digitalwallets and #decentralized #digitalidentity and #digitaltrust infrastructure. Solving that hard problem was the very reason the ToIP Foundation was founded four years ago. So on this panel tomorrow we’ll get very specific about the structure of the ToIP stack, why we’ve concentrated on the Trust Spanning Protocol and Trust Registry Protocol, and how the ToIP model binds in the #governance essential for real business and social trust.

ToIP announces the Implementers Draft of the Trust Spanning Protocol. Join the Ecosystem Foundry Working Group at ToIP as they have guest presentation from the Interaction Patterns Task Force (IPTF) who will be sharing the results of their Digital Wallet Survey. The ToIP, IPTF wanted input to better understand key needs and issues for digital wallet users and stakeholders so that we can provide deliverables that support our community in enabling consistent, accessible, and trustworthy data exchange experiences for all. The Trust Over IP (ToIP) Foundation congratulates the SIDI Hub on the success of its inaugural event held in Paris on January 31, 2023. This one-day conference, attended by more than 120 experts from over 20 different countries, was very effective in bringing a wide swath of parties who share the common goal of cross-border interoperability for digital identity. ToIP was very happy to aid in the planning and execution of the SIDI Hub event because globally interoperable digital identity has been a core component of ToIP’s mission of enabling end-to-end trusted transactions at a global scale since our inception in 2020. ToIP will continue to support the SIDI Hub mission in its strategic and technical tracks in the promotion of the ToIP core principles of: ·   Confidential connections and exchanges ·   Provable authenticity and provenance of data ·   Decentralizing data, so it remains in the control of its owners or holders ·   Knowing the parties we communicate with are who they say they are ·     For personal information, disclosing only what is needed in any given situation. Together, we feel that we can more effectively advance the cause of interoperable digital identity for trusted, privacy enhancing exchanges on a global scale.
