Every May, the Cystic Fibrosis community comes together for CF Awareness Month. The theme of this year's CF Awareness Month is, “Resilient.” This May, I take a moment to honor the incredible resilience of my sister in her battle against Cystic Fibrosis. 💪 Despite the challenges CF presents in her every day, she faces each day with unwavering strength and courage. Watching her navigate through the highs and lows, the triumphs and setbacks, has been both humbling and inspiring. Even after 32 years, she continues to teach me the true meaning of resilience, reminding me to never give up, no matter how bumpy the road may seem. I will continue to embody that resilience through Trebla Talent's effort in supporting the future of medicine. I've spent the last 2 weeks diving for sea urchins in beautiful Bequia- a small island 1 hour South of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It was a journey filled with both beauty and meaning, as we celebrated the life of Joyce Bilbe, my partner's grandmother, who peacefully passed away from Alzheimer's in 2023. Despite meeting Joyce during the later stages of her illness, the stories shared by family members over those weeks painted a vivid picture of what her life was like on this magical island.
