Last week, our New York colleagues came together to take on the 45th annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, a 3.5 mile run/walk through Central Park. It was a fun night of team bonding, friendly competition, and representing TPG. Congrats to all who participated and to J.P. Morgan for hosting a great event! #JPMCC

How are different deal dynamics shaping the current market? In a new edition of The TPG Take, TPG President Todd Sisitsky shares his views on the trends shaping the current macro and deal environment, why diversification has been critical to success in alternatives, and how the space has evolved throughout his decades-long career.   "Private equity and alternative assets have undergone tremendous change over the last three decades. As is the case with many industries, as they mature, they become more competitive. The need to continually develop incremental capabilities, the ability to add value to your companies, and the ability to inflect growth are all now very important components of what it means to be an alternative asset firm.”   Subscribe and share the newsletter here: https://lnkd.in/e5HRs8ta

As we wrap up Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, employees gathered for networking events at our offices around the globe to celebrate the month trying Asian snacks and making their own bracelets. The bracelets represent the importance of “stringing together” the lasting contributions made by AAPI pioneers and extending support to the communities we are tied to. We are proud to celebrate the AAPI community not just this month, but every month, ensuring TPG is an inclusive workplace for all of our people.

Congratulations to the Intersect Power team on another hard earned and well deserved recognition. Bringing 2.2 GW of solar PV and 1.4 GWh of battery storage online in the space of 12 months is a reflection of the incredible team we have here, whose relentless drive and expertise have enabled us to get these world class projects onto the grid. We take great pride in what we’ve accomplished so far, but our ambition doesn’t stop here. This year, we are set to deploy an additional 1 GWh of battery storage (the rockstars of the energy transition https://lnkd.in/dGVt4ZfG) in Texas, solidifying our status as one of the biggest operators of solar + storage in the country. Over the next five years, we will triple the size of our operating portfolio, expanding our presence in grid-tied renewables as well as large-scale clean energy assets, including green hydrogen and data centers.
