Sherry’s expertise focuses on providing strategic and organizational advisory services to the public sector through conducting primary and secondary research, benchmarking, leveraging data analytical techniques, and constructing complex models. Her valuable experience spans various business domains, including market analysis, strategic planning, performance optimization, and program evaluation. Sherry uses her strong research and data analysis skills to derive actionable insights and solutions to address complex business challenges for our clients.   Sherry holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College, with a dual major in Economics and Film and Media Studies. Her academic journey has been marked by extensive qualitative and quantitative economic research. This unique combination of quantitative research capabilities and creative filmmaking experience equips her to be an insightful problem solver who utilizes evidence-based approaches while also drawing on creative perspectives to devise innovative solutions. Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Sherry's dedication extends to volleyball and the broader world of sports. A volleyball enthusiast for a decade, she has consistently engaged with the sport, participating on both her college and high school varsity teams. This month’s employee spotlight is Mehdi Haider! Mehdi is experienced in providing guidance to organizations through strategic planning and management, knowledge management, primary and secondary research and analysis, and business development and marketing. His work has spanned both domestic and global contexts with federal, private, and nonprofit organizations from business to politics to community organizing, where he has enabled individuals and organizations to effectively address the challenges they face.   Mehdi’s diverse academic background began with premedical sciences, followed by policy and business. He earned a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, specializing in International Negotiation & Conflict Resolution and Business for Social Impact. His Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Middle Eastern Studies from the College of the Holy Cross laid a solid foundation for his career, and was supplemented through working with embassies, CSIS, Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, international organizations, and nonprofits.   Outside of work, Mehdi loves to travel – so far, to over 20 countries — and to learn new languages. Our exceptional employee highlight this week is Rohit Kulkarni. Rohit possesses a diverse skill set and a rich educational background, making him a valuable team member in various aspects of business. His experience in medical device marketing, product management, and warehouse operations equips him with a broad understanding of business operations. Currently, his focus on strategic and operational turnaround projects demonstrates his ability to identify and implement solutions to complex business challenges.   With academic qualifications including an M.Sc. in Biological Sciences, a B.E. in Chemical Engineering, and an M.S. in Innovation and Management, Rohit demonstrates a strong foundation in both technical and managerial domains. This multidisciplinary background enables him to approach problems from different perspectives and devise innovative solutions.   Rohit's proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi languages enhances his ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders, which is crucial in project management and leadership roles. With a proven track record across North America, Europe, and Asia in sectors like life sciences, industrial manufacturing, national security, and foreign affairs, Tomás is committed to fostering collaboration and devising innovative solutions tailored to specific challenges. Additionally, he brings a wealth of knowledge in nonprofit endeavors, particularly in international development projects focusing on credit building practices, public and private sector contract management, and business incubation. Originally from Northern Virginia, Tomás obtained his B.A. in Economics and Spanish from the University of Virginia.
