In April, TouchPoint's Wisconsin DIAC volunteered at the Kinship Community Food Center (A Community of Generosity), which brought together associates from our EVS, FNS, and Catered Living teams. Associates rolled up their sleeves and got their hands in the dirt to weed, seed, harvest, and compost. The team was able to completely turn over one of the greenhouses and prep it for the planting of onions, cucumbers, pole beans, and kale. Kinship's 27,000-square-foot urban hoop house vegetable farm allows the community to harvest thousands of pounds of organic produce to feed the hungry and share meals. A text-based system where patients can directly request services or connect with our management team, the system is an exciting way to leverage technology to consistently and proactively interact with patients to ensure we deliver compassionate care.
