Congratulations to our May 2024 Featured Employee: Vanessa Jackson, Director of Total Rewards with Togetherwork! Here are a few fun facts about Vanessa:    - Before joining Togetherwork, Vanessa spent four years at a TPA firm preparing 401(k) documents after earning her Bachelor's in Business Administration in Accounting.  - In 2010, she was hired at OmegaFi and held positions in the Advancement Department and Finance before beginning her career at Togetherwork in Human Resources. - Vanessa's journey in HR has taken her from Payroll Specialist to Payroll Manager to HR Business Partner and now to her current role of Director of Total Rewards where she managers the payroll and benefits teams. - Vanessa has been instrumental in onboarding employees from every new acquisition onto Togetherwork's payroll and benefit platforms. - Vanessa is happily married to her high school sweetheart. They have two wonderful boys, ages 12 and 24.   - In her free time, she loves to travel, work out, spend time with her family, and experiment with new recipes.    Togetherwork is so proud to have her be a crucial part of the team.  #togetherwork

Here are a couple fun facts about Alyson:    - Alyson was an avid user of Ginger for her pet resort business before joining the Gingr team 2 years ago. She currently serves as the Customer Success Manager.   - She has a diverse background beyond pet care including an international career in project and asset management, as well as leading the training division of a 400-franchise system.  - Alyson is based out of the Midwest and is the mother of four children: A five-year-old, a three-year-old, and one-year-old twins.  - Alyson and her husband also run a successful property and administrative management business. One year ago they bought a roller-skating rink!  Togetherwork is so proud to have her be a crucial part of the team.

Here are a couple fun facts about Kisha:    - Kisha works as a Payments Analyst investigating payment issues, stripe onboarding, chargebacks, and token migrations for multiple merchants.   - Before she joined Togetherwork in 2021, she was a customer service lead at a printing company for 19 years.   - She was born and raised in Dekalb, Illinois.   - In October of 2021 Kisha purchased her first home and enjoys spending most of her time working around her house, listening to music, and taking her son to his many activities.  - Kisha has a nine-year old son, and lots of supportive family close by.  - She attends Aurora University and will receive her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in May of 2024! Togetherwork is so proud to have her be a crucial part of the team.  #togetherwork

Here are a few fun facts about Zarus: - Zarus has been a part of the Togetherwork HR team since 2021. - Originally from New Orleans, LA, he now calls Atlanta, GA his home away from home with his wife, Chynna, and beloved dog, Boudreaux. - He received his BS in Management with a focus in Marketing from Tulane University. - Despite not having studied Human Resources, a twist of fate led him to a job in HR where he quickly found a passion for the field. - He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. - In addition to playing sports growing up, he is also a passionate musician, having played the piano, violin, trumpet, and French horn. - In his downtime, Zarus enjoys lifting weights, hiking, reading, and listening to music.
