Congratulations are in order! 👏 First, Springbok Analytics co-founder Silvia Blemker was awarded the Goel Award for Translational Research in Biomechanics by the American Society of Biomechanics. Dr. Blemker is the first woman to win this award -- what an accomplishment and one that is well deserved! Second, GE HealthCare announced its collaborative study with #Springbok, the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), Next Gen Basketball Players Union (NGBPU), and MedStar Health. This study collected measurements from a cohort of NBA G League players in an attempt to quantify the impact of playing, training, and rest over a professional basketball season on musculoskeletal health. #Springbok’s AI-based 3D muscle analysis was used to better understand players’ muscle health, using MRI data to create a 3D model of individual muscles, revealing a more complete view of musculoskeletal health, precisely quantifying metrics including muscle volume, muscle asymmetry, fat infiltration, edema, as well as tendon and bone morphology. In collaboration with Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers along with a coalition of public and private sector representatives, including the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, we're thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking AI Co-Innovation Lab focused on manufacturing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This pioneering initiative is the first of its kind in the United States. The AI Co-Innovation Lab will serve as a dynamic hub connecting Wisconsin’s brightest manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and established companies with leading AI experts and developers. Our goal? To harness the power of AI and cloud technologies to accelerate businesses across the state. Through our investment activities and by leveraging our extensive network within the state’s startup ecosystem, we'll enable deep engagement, provide a venture perspective, and activate startup and corporate participation in the lab. This presence will also support the technology transfer opportunities from the lab to the venture capital markets for necessary funding. Green Bay, we're officially on the clock...for the 2025 NFL Draft. 🏈🚀 Partner Cordero Barkley, Technologist in Residence Matt Adamczyk, and Communications & Market Insights Manager Grace Murray were recently in Detroit, MI, gathering ideas for next year's Draft in Green Bay, building our network in Michigan, and supporting a couple of our portfolio companies. Matt led a discussion about Wisconsin's tech scene, alongside Cordero, the Green Bay Packers' Aaron Popkey, Milwaukee World Festival's Sarah Smith Pancheri and Molson Coor's Jonah Turner. Additionally, we spent time with our friends at M25 and with the Michigan startup community at Plain Sight and Midwest House's Sports, Tech, and Venture Summit. The team had the opportunity to support StatusPRO co-founders Troy Jones Jr., MBA and Andrew Hawkins as they engaged with young minds at Harper Woods STEM Academy ahead of showcasing the company's XR technology. Croux co-founder and CEO Jennifer Ryan was also in Detroit providing support for surrounding hospitality events. If this is any indication of what the 2025 Draft will hold, it's going to be awesome!

Everyone is feeling inspired and energized after days of immersive experiences, insightful conversations, and of course, the "Brews, Beats, and Bytes" panel discussion with Ben Kvalo, Sarah Smith Pancheri, and Jonah Turner at Midwest House.
