What makes being remote-first, but not remote-only, work so well is that Thumbtack invests in offsites where we come together several times per year for intentional gatherings to work on work, build relationships, and celebrate our wins. Last week, the North American Recruiting team came together in Chicago where we shared great pizza, worked on long-term strategy, volunteered at an animal shelter with two Thumbtack pros, and celebrated our wins at the Cubs game.
