Over the past few months we've had the privilege to learn more about Tech Coalition's work and Project Lantern. They even added an article in the playbook related to minor safety. If you get a chance, take a look at their annual report and their 2024 transparency report. There's a lot of great information.
📢 The Tech Coalition 2024 Annual Report and latest Lantern Transparency Report are now live! 2024 marked a year of growth, innovation, and impact across our membership as we worked together to combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse (OCSEA). Highlights include: • Welcoming 10 new members, growing our alliance to 47 companies, • Launching Pathways to help non-member companies strengthen their child safety programs, reaching 51 participants, • Lantern signals in 2024 led to enforcement actions against over 100k accounts, the removal of 7k+ pieces of CSAM, and the blocking or removal of 135k+ CSEA URLs, • 44 of 45 of our member companies advanced at least one objective milestone in their capacity to protect children online, totaling 122 mileposts advanced across the membership. Our members are united by a shared commitment; no single company can tackle OCSEA alone, but together, we are building safer digital spaces for children everywhere. 🔗 Read the reports: https://lnkd.in/eq3T2WJ9
