InspireMSP has been named the 2024 Gerry Rauenhorst Building Community Award Winner! The Minneapolis nonprofit connects the power of imagination with the practice of exploration to create boundless opportunities that change lives and communities. They will receive a $71,000 grant from the Opus Foundation. To honor our founder's legacy of giving, we launched the Gerry Rauenhorst Building Community Award in 2015 along with the Opus Foundation. Fueled by unwavering optimism, Gerry demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and a commitment to finding a better way to build a business, along with a community and values-centered life. Shanna Strowbridge, J.D., has been promoted to Vice President & General Counsel! Shanna is responsible for providing legal guidance and advice to all of our associates, as well as overseeing the risk management and environmental risk groups, and supervising the work of outside law firms. Shanna has been a real estate and construction lawyer in the Minneapolis market for more than 24 years and has extensive experience in private practice and as in-house counsel. She previously led the legal team at Schafer Richardson and served as Associate General Counsel with CSM Corporation. She was also a shareholder at both Moss & Barnett and Monroe Moxness Berg, and an attorney with Winthrop & Weinstine. Shanna has a law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in History and English from the University of Minnesota. The Opus Volunteer Council (OVC) held a successful donation supply drive and on-site volunteer event last month in Minneapolis. Pet supplies were donated to Safe Hands Rescue in Minneapolis. Lawrence Pobuda, Executive Vice President & General Manager, has been named a Most Admired Leader by the Phoenix Business Journal. Larry leads our western markets, including Phoenix, Denver and Austin. Throughout his 30-year-career, Larry has worked in development, investment and tenant representation and has served as a landlord on various commercial properties. Larry opened our Phoenix office in 2014.
