Good morning, afternoon, evening depending upon where in the world you are. Thought of the day - who knew you could abuse batteries and IT this much? Probably more severe environment than the IT in a tent experiment many years ago. Some of my The Green Grid may remember those early days of testing the environmental envelope. https://lnkd.in/gvEpSw8R
A shout out to our friends over at Forced Physics DCT who have been deploying Natron Prussian blue sodium-ion batteries for three years. Perhaps the most impressive example being the outdoor self-contained IT system sitting across the street from PHX airport operating with nothing more than outside air for 'cooling'. Yes, batteries, power electronics, and a complete IT stack that have been subjected to record breaking run of 100F+ days. And if that isn't enough they should tell you it gets cold at night in the desert as well. A very impressive platform from Forced Physics DCT and nothing can compare with Natron Energy's safe, sustainable, high peak power, extremely high cycle-rate sodium-ion batteries.
