Friendshipper is the git-based tool we use internally to commit code, manage build versions, and distribute builds to remote teams and playtesters. Today, we’re excited to announce that it is open source, available to use and build upon for any game maker who wants it. At Believer, we have a key culture tenet, “We Believe In Games”. We try to challenge each other to think about this broadly — not just in the context of our own work, but the collective endeavor of all game developers everywhere. We’re sharing Friendshipper with the industry in that spirit, to improve processes that have historically been laborious and inefficient for all of us. Friendshipper is available now.
