Enhancing your communication skills can have a profound impact on both your personal and professional relationships, influencing individuals within your social and work circles positively. Effective communication can reduce the frequency of conflicts, leading to a more harmonious environment. Moreover, even when disagreements do arise, adept communication enables you to handle them with greater ease and finesse. Try these out and let me know in the comments how it goes. Special shoutout to Dan Clurman, & Mudita Nisker for these tips. #communication #mindfulness

In honor of World Mental Health Day here are five important insights that can help you prioritize your mental health every day of the year. 1) You are not alone. Millions of people are going through mental health challenges. 2) Progress is not a straight line so don’t get too bummed out over “setbacks.” 3) Don’t take yourself too seriously - try to look for the humor, when you can. 4) Taking care of others improves your well-being. 5) Never worry alone. Reach out, talk to someone, a friend, family member or professional. #WorldMentalHealthDay

ABC News correspondent Matt Gutman joins the podcast to talk panic attacks, anxiety, fear and how to deal with all of it. Listen to the full episode with Dan Harris now: https://lnkd.in/gjc9d3Sp
According to experts, anxiety and panic are remnants of evolutionarily advantageous adaptations. In other words, the very thing that feels like it's wreaking havoc on your body and mind once helped your ancestors survive. Realizing anxiety and panic are normal and even useful can be a huge relief. The realization can also bolster a useful mindset shift away from thinking of anxiety as an enemy to conquer - which tends only to intensify it - and towards thinking of it as a friend or advisor whom you've outgrown. That mindset shift can be a great step toward managing your anxiety. Check out the Ten Percent Happier podcast to hear my full conversation with Matt Gutman. 👇 #PanicAttacks #Anxiety #DanHarris
