We champion equity in STEM education and economic opportunity for all girls, no exceptions.

About us

Techbridge Girls champions equity in STEM education and fair access to economic opportunity for all girls. NO exceptions. Today, too many girls are locked out of STEM and have to work twice as hard to get half as far. Overwhelming odds are stacked against them: they live in low-income communities, go to high-poverty schools and experience bias due to their race, class, and ethnicity. We level the playing fields and empower girls from low-income communities to achieve upward mobility and financial stability. To achieve our mission, we design high-quality, fun STEM programs and learning experience and we train educators to deliver our unique programs to marginalized girls across the U.S.

It’s the first day of summer break and these Pasadena Unified teachers chose to spend it in STEM Equity PD facilitated by Caitlin Davis, M.Ed of Techbridge Girls. With a focus on BIPOC girls and gender expansive youth, we talked about designing learning spaces for students to be their full selves. Teachers illuminated their own STEM identities with a hands-on activity that incorporated circuits and mirrors. ✨😎 #inclusiveSTEM #STEMequity #centerthemargins #designforbelonging

❓Did you know that there are women working in STEM right now that got their start in Techbridge Girls programming? Women like Sarah, who became excited about STEM after her participation in TBG and is now working at John Hopkins on MRNA vaccines. Or, women like Aileen, who was told that she would not have success in her career because she was a woman, but after the exposure to STEM from TBG graduated from college with a degree in Mathematics. That is paving the way. High five to Sarah and Aileen! 🙌🏾 When you support Techbridge Girls, you are encouraging more young girls to be like Sarah and Aileen. With TBG, girls are inspired and prepared to persist toward their STEM aspirations. Listen to our Board Member, Nicole Grogan’s experience and affinity to TBG. “As the parent of a daughter with STEM career aspirations and a leader in finance and tech spaces for the past 30 years, I am passionate about Techbridge Girls mission to equip educators and incorporate equitable STEM curriculum to prepare students for post-secondary STEM degrees and jobs. These efforts will help close gender gaps in math and science careers while providing greater opportunities for economic mobility.” Join Nicole to become a part of our community of Techbridge Girls supporters today by contributing to equitable STEM education! Your gift will mean more girls can find belonging in STEM in 2024 and beyond. 🔭 Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, this month your gift will go even further. Every gift up to $5,000 will be matched for the month of March! ✨✨✨✨
