Meet Asaad, our Distribution Market Manager: Tell us about yourself, your background, and your journey to TDP Bakery. My journey is a testament to the power of adaptability and the pursuit of passion. Born in Peshawar, Pakistan and having lived across various cultures, I have embraced change and opportunity at every turn. My early fascination with technology and gadgets was not just a fleeting interest; it became a guiding force that led me to study computer science. This pivot opened doors to work with a tech giant like Apple, all while maintaining my role at The Doughnut Peddler. My dedication and hard work paid off when I was presented with the chance to become a Distribution Manager, a role that allowed me to step into a position of greater responsibility and impact. Over two decades at The Doughnut Peddler, my story is one of continuous growth and commitment, reflecting a career built on seizing opportunities and a love for what I do.   What is something of which you are proud? The journey through one's career is often as significant as the destination itself. It's commendable to recognize the growth and learning that comes from experience, particularly in an industry as challenging and dynamic as manufacturing. Leadership is not just about guiding others but also about self-discovery and personal development. The qualities of a good leader—such as integrity, empathy, and resilience—are honed over time through experiences and challenges faced along the way. Moreover, finding love and building a family is a beautiful chapter in life's journey. It is heartwarming to share that the manufacturing industry has been the backdrop not only for my professional achievements but also for my personal happiness and fulfillment. I met my wife here in 2022, and we got married back in March 2024. Finding love during work is a story many can only dream of, and it is wonderful to hear that it has blossomed into a family of six. The balance between a rewarding career and a thriving family life is a testament to the dedication and passion one brings to all aspects of life.   What is a piece of advice you have? One piece of advice that often resonates across various aspects of life is the importance of balance. Whether it is balancing work and personal life, balancing speaking and listening, or balancing time spent on different tasks, finding equilibrium can lead to a more fulfilling and less stressful existence. It is also beneficial to remain adaptable and open to learning, as the ability to adjust and grow can be crucial in navigating life's unpredictable challenges.   What is your favorite TDP product? It has to be a glazed donut and the double chocolate brownie, sorry had to choose two….:)
