Today, we joined forces with Keep Pinellas Beautiful to celebrate the next generation of environmental leaders! Our chief science officer, Warren Hogg, served as a judge for student projects at Keep Pinellas Beautiful's high school environmental leadership workshop at Weedon Island Nature Preserve. Over the week-long workshop, students developed innovative action plans to address local environmental issues. They presented these plans to their peers and environmental experts, including Warren, who provided valuable feedback and well-deserved recognition for their hard work.

Today, Erin Hayes, professional hydrogeologist, presented at Keep Pinellas Beautiful's high school environmental leadership workshop. She shared insights on Tampa Bay Water's supply system, environmental recovery efforts and the importance of protecting and conserving our water resources. The students had a blast creating an edible aquifer, learning in a fun and delicious way about our precious water resources.
