Studio Day is our quarterly get-together. This time, we met at Poets House in Ely (opposite Oliver Cromwell's house). The day was organised by our brilliant Head of Delivery Claire McDermott, who managed to work some fun Taskmaster-style games into the agenda to keep us on our toes. It's always a joy to catch up in person!

Today we are celebrating working with Ian Axton for 12 years! 🎉 Ian is our Creative Director. When he's not creating positive, inclusive user experiences online, you can find him at his kiln creating beautiful pottery. A creative legend on and off the web!

Earlier this year, Claire McDermott was a judge for the BIMA 100. The best thing about working in Cambridge is that you are only a 5-minute walk away from this! This is Sheep's Green in Cambridge city centre. The resident heron is used to people and didn't mind an audience while fishing for lunch.

When you work in digital, it's important to have time away from screens. Ian, our Creative Director, is a potter. In a world of immediacy, he finds the repetitive slowness in throwing and turning clay into functional pieces grounding and peaceful. This weekend, Ian attended his first craft fair.
