We’re Southern Tide. No matter where you call home (North, South, East, West), you’re in the right place now and that’s all that matters. To us, Southern is a state of mind. It’s more than just where you were born or where you live, it’s how you approach life – and our life is about DOING. We’re social; we’re adventurous; we’re coastal and a slew of other things you’ll find as we get to know each other better. We make classic, authentic apparel built with a purpose. When we say our clothing is “built with a purpose,” we really mean it. Everything we make and everything we do is with quality in mind - whether a material, a finishing detail, a fit or function. We started with our iconic Skipjack polo and over the years have evolved to offer an entire collection of men's, women's and kid's clothing and accessories. We were so blessed to have USC Retailing Executive Advisory Board members Carey Ann Campbell, CEO of Southern Tide, and Betts Copenhaver, VP, Strategic Planning & Business Development for Oxford Industries, as “Professors for the Day” today. Such great advice for our Retailing students in the classroom. “Do what you say you’re going to do”, “Little things matter”, and “You have to put in the work and effort to get experience for your dream job” are things all students should know. We appreciate the time and energy Carey Ann and Betts have invested in our Retailing program to make it such a unique and highly recognized academic experience for students.
