This week we were thrilled that Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, one of the leading voices in women’s cardiovascular health, joined us in the Solis Mammography studio for an in-depth interview with Dr. Chirag Parghi, our Chief Medical Officer. An attending cardiologist and women’s health advocate, Dr. Steinbaum is single-handedly forging a path forward to change the conversation around heart disease in women from treating the sick to empowering the healthy. The lively interview focused on personalized, preventive care, as well as new technologies and innovations that look at women’s health more holistically, particularly with the launch of Solis Mammography’s Mammo+Heart AI-driven screening that provides insight into a patient’s heart and breast health. It's been a busy week for our clinical team. Dr. Chirag Parghi just returned from the American College of Cardiology Conference in Atlanta, where we had a poster submission on breast arterial calcification. Now the team is in Montreal for SBI's Breast Imaging Symposium. Today, Dr. Zi (Jill) Zhang presented Jefferson Health and Solis Mammography's collaborative research project on AI in breast cancer detection. Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Jefferson Health. Her presentation offered a deep dive into the association of AI case scores and cancer characteristics.
