I’m superseding entrepreneur and founder, Adam Nasir as CEO of Smarter Contact.
The truth is that when I joined the company I didn’t set out to become CEO.
From the very early days, I found Adam to be a rare breed among many founders and CEOs I’ve worked with in the past in any capacity.
He never sought to be the smartest person in the room and always surrounded himself by people better than him who brought value and subject matter expertise, and he was willing to pay for it too.
Every idea I brought forth was always met with an open mind instead of resistance or opposition.
The goal was always to collaborate and grow better together instead of seeking individual praise and acknowledgement for our efforts…
Although he was quick to give praise and reward when and to whom it was due, always lifting others before himself.
As it should be, the trust that he extended to me was not given, but earned. Most importantly, once earned, it not only enabled me, but it empowered me.
You see I’ve always worked best when I have autonomy, and he was humble enough to step back and place his pride aside, and let me execute and lead.
We had challenges, set backs, many changes, and hard decisions to make together as we led the company, but it was consistent execution, leadership, a deep desire to succeed, and a relentless pursuit for excellence that led us to where we are now.
Although Adam quickly became to me someone worth following and a true leader by example, he’s decided to hand the keys to me to lead Smarter Contact to its next stages of growth - a decision that became a perfect fit for our mutual long-term goals.
The wild part is that this man is stepping down when the company is at its best.
In the last two quarters alone, our ARR has increased by 3x and our usage almost 4x while our employee headcount has remained the same. We’re lean and mean, bootstrapped and profitable, and we’re proud of it.
We’re poised for exponential growth and we’re already experiencing it first-hand with record-high customer LTV and record-low churn rates.
Thank you Adam for your vision, leadership, and trust to-date, and to our talented team who never ceases to execute with excellence and is making things happen every day.
Most importantly, a big thank you to our customers whose feedback is priceless and whose unwavering loyalty has led Smarter Contact to become the market leader.
The best is yet to come. Stay tuned.
