To celebrate Earth Week, Skin Inc, Skin Supplement Bar has collaborated with Carousell Group on Skin Inc Reboot to sell refurbished units of our award-winning devices. This partnership allows us to make our beauty devices, typically ranging from $298 to $458, accessible to more skincare enthusiasts, but we also launched it to draw attention to the issue of electronic waste and to promote circular beauty. It’s most important to know your inner fears and triggers, so you can address them head-on. Without knowing what is making you reticent, you can never work on it and move past it. It’s important to be introspective, asking yourself why you are not doing certain things. And are they holding you back, and what would happen if you attempted to do those things that scared you—would you be successful? Balancing these thoughts would give you more clarity on how to move forward. How do you support and empower women in your life—be it in your personal life or workplace? Supporting women doesn’t start or end in the workplace. It is a way of life. To me, embracing everyone’s uniqueness, and strengths and weaknesses, and levering on one another’s strengths can build confidence. From strength to strength, we are then able to win together. Female empowerment tells us to put our guards down and to refrain from judging one another. But the first thing to do is to embrace our differences. Why is International Women’s Day personally important to you? It’s such a good reminder of our supernatural powers. It’s a day where we recognise one another’s supernatural powers and unleash them, coming together as a community to rally and grow stronger. So we can grow to be more resilient and grow stronger as a community together.

The Nightbirde Foundation is an organization that helps young women with breast cancer and was formed in honor of Jane Marczewski aka Nightbirde, who appeared on America’s Got Talent and brought hope to many through her journey with breast cancer. The Nightbirde Foundation partners with integrative cancer clinics to take a holistic approach in helping young women get the treatment they need. In Jane’s case, the holistic approach the institution was able to give her a second chance at life. She was given 3 months and was able to live an additional two years due to her mental resilience with the help of the institution. It was that additional 2 years that allowed her to follow her dream in performing on America’s Got Talent, and ultimately winning the golden buzzer. Jane was able to share her story, gift, and strength around the world - inspiring millions of people.
