We recently celebrated another 20th anniversary on #TeamShaneCo! Matt, our Operations Manager in Louisville, KY, hit the big 20th anniversary milestone this month. In 2004, Matt joined #TeamShaneCo and has held various roles with us over the years. While he has always been based in Kentucky, Matt has helped in so many stores across the country! Matt's willingness to jump in and assist, support and train has touched many Shane Co. stores. We are so blessed to have Matt's leadership here at Shane Co., not only on the Louisville store team but his reach far beyond!  #20yearanniversary #milestones #celebrate #culturematters

Recently, 22 of our #TeamShaneCo members — one from each of our stores across the country — flew to the Shane Co. Home Office for GEM Trip 2024! GEM stands for "Going the Extra Mile," and these winners certainly do that! They are our cultural ambassadors and lead our store teams in so many ways, including team building, culture activities, and recognition and appreciation, all while keeping our core values top of mind. ✨💎✨ The GEMs had a great week! As May comes to an end, it's important to note that this month is Mental Health Awareness Month. Did you know Shane Co. has a cool resource that is pretty unique for a company of our size? While we've always had a history of focusing on the availability of mental health resources for our team, we also have our very own Manager of Wellbeing and Work Life. That role works with our company leaders and with our employees directly to create and support programs that help us. If you decide to join #TeamShaneCo, we want you to know that mental health is an issue we focus on! That is just one of the ways we demonstrate that we value our teammates as people, not just employees. Additionally, we are closed on more days than most retailers. We were closed on Memorial Day, in addition to seven other paid holidays per year. We love to celebrate #TeamShaneCo and their accomplishments in BIG ways. That’s why earlier this spring, our "Best of the Year" 🤩 team members from our stores and home office traded in their name badges & laptops for shorts, fun in the sun, and dinners on the beach and were treated to an experience of a lifetime in Riviera Maya! While on the trip, our team members enjoyed a week full of fun activities — excursions like a ropes course, deep sea fishing, ATV riding, and even the Mayan ruins! Along with, of course, lots of pool aerobics, beach time, and drinks to celebrate this team's incredible accomplishments over the last year. Work hard, play harder! ☀️🏖️🎣🌴

This past week we celebrated a huge milestone and person in our Company. Brian Blechman, our Chief Stores Officer, has officially been on #TeamShaneCo for 20 years! As it turns out, we also hosted our biannual Store Manager/Operations Manager seminar in Colorado this past week. This allowed Brian's immediate team, along with a bunch of other Store (and Home Office) friends, to celebrate with him in person! We are so very grateful to have Brian's passion for championing, developing, and assisting in the success of our store teams and to celebrate this milestone. Happy Anniversary, Brian!
