Today was Take Your Dog to Work Day at Sarnova, courtesy of our Care Providers Alliance Employee Resource Group. It was an awesome way to wrap up a month-long list of activities and events for our employees designed to bring awareness to the importance of mental health. Research shows the positive role pets can play in the workplace, from increasing productivity to enhancing collaboration and improving workplace morale - not to mention just how our furry friends are so doggone huggable! May is Mental Health Awareness month, and Sarnova's Care Providers Alliance Employee Resource Group has so many things planned to bring awareness to this little talked about issue. To help our employees have inner peace and mental clarity, the group has "Walking Wednesdays" planned each Wednesday of this month, where employees are encouraged to go take a decompression walk either alone or in a group.
