We are excited to welcome in a new class of summer interns! Across all five of our sites, plus remote locations, our interns will support 22 different teams and take a deep dive into Sarepta’s business, research activities and culture. Our interns come from STEM and non-STEM backgrounds; some are undergraduate students, and some are pursuing advanced degrees. Each intern will have the chance for hands-on learning and the opportunity to see what it’s like working in a biotech company at the leading edge of precision genetic medicine. We’re excited to get started!

In honor of National Nurses Week, we’re celebrating our colleague John Crane, RN, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. As a member of our Duchenne Nurse Educators team, John supports healthcare providers, patients and caregivers with education on Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the treatment process and Sarepta support programs. His journey to Sarepta included a 24-year run as a Navy nurse and multiple tours of duty across the globe. Throughout his nursing career, John has focused on educating other healthcare providers and maintaining his patients-first mindset. We’re excited to share John’s story in his own words.
