Pride Month is a special time for the LGBTQ+ community and allies, this annual celebration recognizes significant milestones, encourages connection, and provides space for people to reflect on and learn from history. Santa Maria works hard to ensure our community is an accepting and welcoming place for all families to lead healthy, successful, productive, and self-fulfilling lives. We believe that every woman or family, no matter their background, deserves the same opportunity to recovery and thrive. 

Santa Maria was honored to host Kodiak Gas Services, Inc. employees at our Bonita House campus this past Friday. This incredible group of volunteers painted, planted, made updates to our donation center, and even provided love, care and fun to our youngest residents. Volunteers from PwC - Price Water House Coopers visited Santa Maria, Bonita House today for a Day of Caring organized through United Way of Greater Houston. 🌟 Meet Nadine Scamp, CEO of Santa Maria! 🌟 Nadine brings over twenty years of experience to her role as CEO of Santa Maria, where she has served since January 2014. With a strong background in developing and directing programs for women and families, Nadine is dedicated to providing behavioral health, re-entry, and housing services for pregnant and parenting women. Nadine's educational background includes a BA in psychology from UT Austin and a master's degree in social work from the University of Houston. Her expertise in working with women with substance use disorders is evident through her publications in several peer-reviewed journals and her presentations on the national, state, and local level. Throughout her career, Nadine has been actively involved in various committees and organizations, including the Network of Behavioral Health Providers Board of Directors and the Texas FASD Collaboration. She is passionate about creating programs and driving community change that promotes healing, hope, and resiliency for women and families recovering from substance use disorders and trauma.
