The Rogers Brothers Junior Giants Field is now open! Yesterday, the Giants Community Fund — in partnership with the Good Tidings Foundation and the Suisun City Recreation, Parks & Marina Department — celebrated the unveiling of a new baseball and softball field at Samuel Goepp Park. The field is named after Taylor and Tyler Rogers for their contribution to the project and dedication to community service.

With your help, we can change that. Team up with the Giants Community Fund in support of today's Junior Giants Glove Drive. A $30 donation covers the cost of a new glove. In honor of African American Heritage Night, San Francisco Giants employees participated in a fireside chat with Dr. Clarence B. Jones & Bob Kendrick. Dr. Jones was the speechwriter and personal attorney to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He penned portions of the famous “I Have a Dream” speech and drafted the settlement agreement between Dr. King and the city of Birmingham that ended the civil rights demonstrations in 1963. Bob Kendrick is a leading expert and the 13-year President of the Negro Leagues Museum. It was a privilege to welcome them both to Oracle Park!
