Happy New Year! 2024 brings new career beginnings to the Pierce household! After spending 17+ years working for a handful of organizations, I am excited to share that I will be leaning into my entrepreneurial spirit and starting my own recruiting and consulting business! While I am beyond excited for what’s ahead, I would not be where I am today without all the personal and professional experiences along the way. Notably and most recently, I spent almost 7 years at AvidXchange, Inc., which was one of the most rewarding yet challenging (in a good way) professional journeys of my career. Interestingly, it’s where I explored and confirmed my entrepreneurial spirit as it’s deeply rooted in the culture. From joining at employee 500ish, helping to start and grow multiple functions, crushing hiring and talent goals to being a part of the IPO (a day I’ll never forget) and so much in between, there are many valuable nuggets I’ll take with me! I want to say thank you to the entire AvidXchange, Inc. team and partners --- the support, opportunities, learnings, and relationships will stay with me forever! Beyond AvidXchange, Inc., I’m thankful for the growth, mentors, and relationships I've developed at Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Novant Health, Family Dollar, and beyond. Every step in my journey thus far has been filled with so much knowledge that I will carry with me to this next chapter. And, lastly, Jon Pierce… my lifelong partner and cheerleader!
