This year like in past years, Rialto sponsored the Out for Undergrad (O4U) Business Conference in New York City. O4U is a non-profit dedicated to helping LGBTQ2+ undergraduates reach their full potential. O4UB is the longest standing O4U conference and aims to help educate students while connecting them to professional business opportunities.

Special thanks from Rialto! Thank you to the Florida State University Real Estate club for spending time with us in our Miami office. We were delighted to host such a bright group of students who were eager to learn more and to understand our business. We spent time with them during a business presentation followed by a nice meet and greet lunch with our Rialto associates who dedicated their time to answering all their questions and provided guidance. Rialto’s Fall 2023 Collegiate Tour As our traditional fall campus recruitment comes to an end, Rialto would like to thank the associates from our Asset Management and Investment Management teams who partnered with HR to represent Rialto at 11 career fairs across the US as well as all the students, university development directors, and faculty members who continue to partner with us in our efforts to expand our diverse talent pipeline. On their tour of local Miami CRE firms last week, students from our Real Estate and Finance Association (REFA) visited Rialto Capital. Students had the opportunity to learn about CMBS b-pieces and Rialto's involvement in the debt space. They also discussed private equity structures and fundraising in the current market environment. Thank you to our speakers and organizers Jennifer Feliz, MBA, Kylee (Shea) Weiss, and University of Miami Herbert Business School alum Niral Shah.

Fall 2023 University of Michigan Case Study Challenge This fall, Rialto Capital had the honor of sponsoring the University of Michigan's first in-person case study challenge since early 2020. It was a great turnout with 8 teams of 3-4 students working together to analyze the data, draw conclusions and present their recommendations. After deliberation by the judges, the winning team - Ethan Marcus, Arun Kodumuru, and Peter Wattai - was awarded a trophy to commemorate the experience. We’d like to thank the University of Michigan for hosting us, all students who participated, and our associates (Ben Losch, Hailey Norvell, Jeremy Moss, Nick Powell, Nikki Goosby and Brian Klein) who created the case study, presented it, and flew to Michigan to represent Rialto in serving as judges, sharing their knowledge, feedback, and encouragement with the participants. We can’t wait for the next one!

Rialto’s hotly anticipated Ping Pong event kicked off for its second year with a bang! Teams were encouraged to create clever team names and dress up in order to add to the fun. The best name award went to pun-powered Net Prophets (Marshall Van Smith & Cory Olson). Guardians of Treasury (Ivan Saez & Abdel Celecia) received the award for best dressed. Finally, Team win (Joao Gauer & Darian Hashemzadeh) with a very appropriate team name took the win on the scoreboard for the overall doubles win. For the singles group the medal stand featured: Darian Hashemzadeh (Gold), Joao Gauer (Silver), and Alekos Harduvel (Bronze). Congrats to all the players who participated and a big thank you to the 2023 Asset Management intern class and other numerous associates for organizing the event and all fans.
