Recently I had the pleasure of being onsite for the third annual American Family Insurance All Atlanta Cup - a community tournament and celebration of soccer that we create in conjunction with our partners at rEvolution, Soccer in the Streets and Atlanta United FC. To say I was proud of the work AFI is doing in the community space through our marketing partnerships is an understatement. On that early May Saturday, the brand stood tall, the passion of attendees had me cheering on kids I didn't even know, and the absolute joy of the young soccer players was palpable. Even more significantly, this event and partnership with Soccer in the Streets is specifically focused on the valuable work of making soccer accessible to all. Lack of equal access to youth sports has been a passion of mine for some time. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have even a small impact on that work through my work at AmFam.
