SCINTIX biology-guided radiotherapy is now FDA cleared.
About us
SCINTIX biology-guided radiotherapy now FDA cleared. SCINTIX® therapy detects and responds to signals emitted from the cancer itself and, for the first time, uses them to deliver immediate treatment for tumors in the lung or bone that may arise from primary or metastatic disease.

SCINTIX therapy safely delivered dose to an ultracentral lung tumor reducing the dose to the esophagus when compared to a traditional IGRT plan. Because SCINTIX therapy delivers a tracked dose, clinicians felt confident to deliver a high dose of radiation in close proximity to critical structures. #SCINTIX #radiotherapy

While delivering a SCINTIX treatment to a bone lesion, an 8.6mm patient shift during treatment was reported. Because SCINTIX therapy delivers a tracked dose, it autonomously followed the tumor and delivered the treatment as planned. A typical image-guided SBRT PTV margin would have missed the inferior edge of the tumor. Managing motion - especially unexpected motion - is an ongoing challenge. SCINTIX therapy, currently approved for lung and bone tumors, solves the conundrum of tumor motion.
